Another strange year has gone by, once more surrounded by corona. But, this year, we've opened the cinemas and we've been able to meet again in festivals and markets. Catalan Films has celebrated its 35th anniversary and we want to thank everybody that has celebrated with us. And also, thanks to all who travelled and with whom we've met these past months. Festivals and markets wouldn't be the same without you!
2021 has been a good year overall and we've put together a short video to celebrate some of this successes. It's small taste because catalan films have had around 900 festival selections and we're still counting the last months! Rotterdam, Berlin, Cannes, Locarno, Karlovy Vary, Venice, Toronto, San Sebastian, Warsaw, Moscow, Tallin, Hot Docs, Jeonju, Visions du Réel, Miami, Bafici, Seattle, New York, Shanghai, Thessaloniki, Bucheon, Sao Paulo, London, Zurich, Rome, El Gouna, Tokyo, and so on... THANK YOU ALL! Catalonia has travelled all around the world!
