Settlement Answers
Does NAR's settlement agreement mean the association is admitting that plaintiffs' allegations are true?
No. The settlement makes clear that NAR continues to deny any wrongdoing in connection with the MLS cooperative compensation model rule (MLS Model Rule). NAR's goal all along has been to resolve this litigation in a way that preserves consumer choice and protects members to the greatest extent possible. This settlement achieves both of those goals. Fair & Equitable Housing
