Hi y'all,

Another day, another way this country reminds us that it's not actually for us. The Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade, dismantling the precedent that protected abortion rights. This means states have the liberty to dramatically limit access to reproductive health care, which will disproportionately impact Black women. It's already happening and may worsen.

Listen. Times are rough and it these regressive, life threatening government decisions on top of the inaction to address issues that are impacting us everyday is too much to carry for any of us. At risk of sounding corny, though, I'm gonna go ahead and invoke some words from Beyoncé's latest that feel very timely: YOU WON'T BREAK MY SOUL!

I honestly don't have much to say this week. This year has had so many highs, but when these lows come swinging on us all, boy do they feel low. Even when you expect it to happen. I remind y'all to take care of yourselves and each often, but I really hope y'all do.

Don't let the world break your soul, fam.
