9/23/19-10/11/19 Kuusakoski will be taking items at 2022 W Townline Rd, Peoria from 7am-3pm Monday-Friday. See flyer for accepted items. Show a copy or digital copy of flyer and regular collection fee of $30 for TVs will be waived.

10/12/19 – Peoria County is hosting an Illinois EPA HHW event. New for this event, residents must register for an appointment. Go to www.peoriacounty.org/recycle to see the list of acceptable items, unacceptable items, frequently asked questions and to schedule your appointment

4th Saturday of the month from April through September – Tire event @ JIMAX
The Tireless Project will hold its monthly collection of unwanted tires for City of Peoria residents from 9 to 11am at 2000 W Clark Street. The first 10 tires are free with a $1 charge for each subsequent tire (funds will be used for project supplies and neighborhood cleanups). The limit is 20 tires per customer and only passenger and truck tires 17” or less will be accepted (no rims or oversized tires). If tires are left after designated hours, a $200 fine for littering will be enforced. Call (309) 253-0192 for more information.
