There’s no sign-up required for these hangouts—attendees will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis until we hit max capacity. But they are very popular sessions, so we suggest you arrive early.

Monday, February 13 (4:00pm - 4:45pm)
Children’s content creators are in a unique position to help the world’s youngest citizens better understand the world, how they fit into it, and what they can do to make it better. This role has taken on more importance in the US lately, as progressive social policies have been diminished or eliminated. Using Florida’s Don’t Say Gay bill as an example, join us to discuss how our industry can help support the LGBTQ+ community with content designed to illuminate and explain topics that are perhaps not being adequately addressed in homes, schools or places of play right now.

Tuesday, February 14 (2:00-2:45pm)
Based on their ongoing research collaboration, KidsKnowBest and Rebel Girls will lead a panel of experts in a discussion of how media and content can help young girls build essential skills to develop and nurture their confidence, and overcome the inevitable challenges they'll meet along the way.
