Beyond the Studio Workshop: Collage Making with Carolina Mayorga

Join internationally recognized artist Carolina Mayorga for a workshop celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. Recognized for her mixed-media artwork and a commitment to addressing social and political issues, Mayorga will discuss her background as an artist and then create a one-of-a-kind collage highlighting the importance of creativity, self-expression, and a sense of community. Space is limited for this program. Participants must register by 7 p.m. ET on September 31.

Feel the fall vibes in the Renwick Gallery with DC’s original crafting happy hour. Make your own earrings or necklace with leather, beads, and wire. Enjoy cider from ANXO cidery and enjoy a a scavenger hunt through the Renwick's second-floor permanent collection, showcasing the dynamic landscape of contemporary craft.

Light snacks, crafting materials, two drinks, and after-hours access included with the price of the ticket. Must be 21 or older to attend and show a valid ID at the door.
