Inmate escape: Over 200 officers from federal, state and local agencies are combing the region for more missing inmates who escaped through a hole in cut into a cell wall. The latest: The inmates will go to a state prison and not back to Orleans Parish. Those still missing may be out of the parish or state by now. Officials say tips from the public are crucial. Rewards of $2K and $5K are offered. One of the steel bars in the wall "appeared to have been intentionally cut using a tool."3 employees have been suspended. Video shows the inmates crossing I-10. $70 million deficit: New Orleans’ government is in the hole, thanks in large part to overtime pay connected to the Jan. 1 Bourbon Street attack and new security measures. Police and firefighters’ overtime make up more than half the deficit, Ben Myers reports. Will Nottoway rebuild?: Haley Miller in Baton Rouge has the latest on what will happen to the smoking ruins of the Nottoway plantation in White Castle. “We’re very devastated, we’re upset," the owners said.
