In case you haven't had a chance to check it out yet, I want to share some highlights from this year's bigger, better, more user-friendly guide. Highlights from 2020’s *Privacy Not Included buyer’s guide This year we've added a Best Of category to help you find products we think really get it right when it comes to privacy and security. We've also added a *Privacy Not Included warning label to help you know which products we find pretty creepy. The Creep-O-Meter is back again this year so you can rate how creepy or not creepy you find a product and see how others rated the products too. In our research, we continue to see many of the big tech companies doing pretty well at securing their products. But don't let that fool you. Even when devices are secure, they can still collect a lot of data. This year we saw an expansion of smart home ecosystems from big tech companies like Amazon and Google reaching deeper into our lives. Smaller companies often do not have the resources to prioritize the privacy and security of their products. Many of the products in the pet and home office category, for example, seem weak on privacy and security. Which products made our naughty and nice lists?
