| | | But, His Emails! | Judge Rules Trump Must Release Voter Fraud Emails Emails between former President Donald Trump and his attorney John Eastman must be handed over to investigators, U.S. District Judge David O. Carter ruled Wednesday. The emails confirm that Trump was involved in “a conspiracy to defraud the United States,” with his claims of voter fraud in the 2020 election. Eastman unsuccessfully argued the emails were covered by lawyer-client privilege. “The emails show that President Trump knew that the specific numbers of voter fraud were wrong but continued to tout those numbers,” Carter wrote. Many of the dead were buried in a mass grave designated by King Edward III and remained there for centuries until University of Chicago researchers had an idea. By testing the remains against those of plague survivors, they found a mutation that gave carriers a 40% boost in survival odds. The ERAP2 mutation is still found in descendants today, and carriers often have higher immunity. | | | | | White Ice | NHL Diversity Review Finds Much Work to Be Done Of the NHL’s workforce, 83.6% are white and 62% are male, an internal report revealed. The findings come from a voluntary internal survey, with around 67% participating. Kim Davis, the NHL’s executive vice president of social impact, growth and legislative affairs, called the results a “baseline” for further efforts. Results will now be used by the University of Central Florida’s Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport to produce a report card that will eventually influence hiring procedures.
