ChatGPT’s resource demands are getting out of control | Data centers are growing larger and becoming more densely packed to cope with the rising demands of generative AI technology | A new study from The Washington Post and researchers from University of California, Riverside highlights just how many resources OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbot needs in order to perform even its most basic functions. The study looked at the resources required for the chatbot to write a 100-word email and discovered that it draws enough electrical current to operate more than a dozen LED lightbulbs for an hour. Pocketpair responds to Nintendo's lawsuit | It's related to Pocketpair's popular Palworld game | Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are suing Palworld developer Pocketpair for patent infringement, Digital Trends reported. Palworld became a viral hit following its early access launch in January, but similarities to Pokémon had many wondering if Nintendo might pounce. And now it has.
