Southwest brings 2,700 flight attendants back to work

Southwest Airlines is recalling more than 2,700 flight attendants, putting its whole roster back to work. "The intended flight attendant recall, as with the recent pilot recall, is to position Southwest for planned flight increases in the summer schedule," based on "improvements in leisure travel demand that the airline recently reported," said Southwest spokesman Brian Parrish.

Balancing Yourself
A study in the Journal of Applied Psychology found that adults who eat unhealthfully late into the night and feel guilty about it tend to be less productive at work the following day. This is due to the combined physical strain -- such as stomachaches, headaches and diarrhea -- and emotional strain, such as the feeling of shame or guilt over eating habits, they felt, the researchers found.
