What are the eligibility requirements for Inc. Best Workplaces? To be eligible, companies must be independent, be US-based, have at least 5 permanent employees, have been in business at least 2 years, and have a total annual revenue of less than $1 billion. Why should my company apply? Honorees will be featured in Inc. magazine, get a dedicated company profile on Inc.com, and receive national and local coverage from the likes of Yahoo! Finance and Businesswire. National recognition of a firm’s culture could stimulate greater productivity among current employees and improve recruiting opportunities with prospective employees. Also, all applicants will receive a company overview report filled with valuable, actionable information. What is the employee survey? Once you’ve submitted your company's application, your employees will need to complete the Quantum Workplace survey. This survey is used to determine a company’s overall score and ranking. To view a sample employee survey, please visit the Inc. 2024 Best Workplaces Resources page. How are the Best Workplaces honorees determined? The Best Workplaces honorees are determined by the company audit (benefits score) and employee survey (engagement score) through Quantum Workplace. Companies must meet a minimum score on both the audit and the survey to be an honoree. The minimum scores needed will be based on outcomes and size category from applicants for 2024. Are there opportunities for increased recognition? Submitting a Best Workplaces application and completing the employee survey will automatically make you eligible for the overall Best Workplaces list. But you can also apply to up to five additional categories to receive additional recognition within group(s) of your peers: Years in Business, Revenue Range, Employee Count, The Editors' List, and National Regions. Each category requires an additional fee. Being named to the Inc.
