Amee Sweet-McNamara

Carrie Story

Amee Sweet-McNamara & Carrie Story

Ask Amee K. Sweet-McNamara why her fine-art jewelry business is called “Amee Runs with Scissors,’’ and she usually just laughs and says, “ Because it sounds a whole lot sexier than ‘Amee Eats Paste.’” Amee writes books, contributes to craft magazines, sells her work through galleries and craft shows, and teaches both private and group classes at venues across the country.

Throughout her career, Carrie Story has proven herself as an expert designer, an accomplished jewelry maker, and an enthusiastic instructor. Known for her approachable and dynamic teaching style, Carrie maintains an enjoyable atmosphere where students feel free to express their own gifts and talents while focusing on technical aspects in an entertaining manner.
