The sun’s been shining, the seafront is buzzing, and it’s starting to feel like proper spring here in Brighton. We’ve had a wonderful stream of visitors popping into the gallery to catch THE RISO SHOW 2, and our shop is filling up with bright, beautiful things to welcome the new season.

Our latest exhibition has been buzzing this past week, with visitors loving—and buying—these engaging, affordable prints.

WHAT IS A RISO PRINT?

As summer nears, join us by the sea for a day of sensory drawing guided by artist Katie Sollohub. Through mindful meditation and gentle movement, you’ll be encouraged to draw not just with your eyes, but with your ears, skin, breath — even memory.

We’ll walk the beach, drawing in response to sound, scent, touch, and place — sometimes with our eyes shut. Back in the studio, we’ll explore how sensations linger and translate into expressive, abstract marks.

No experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to let go of expectations.

Open to all levels.
