As we enter the holiday shopping season, not everyone is ready to spend, spend, spend. What are your favorite cheap or free gift ideas? Last year, they gave me hand-written copies of their favorite recipes. Priceless!" Diane in Alabama: "We do gag gifts, white elephant style. The wackier the better! It's all about the joy and laughter." Rex in Georgia: "Write a personal letter in your own handwriting, letting them know how special they are to you." Carol in Illinois: "Check your local library for their used book sales. I just picked up several high-quality puzzles for my grandkids. Plus some activity books on drawing and painting. What a deal!" Linda in Alabama: "A virtual Advent calendar that includes daily games and activities for the days leading up to Christmas!"
