World Economic Forum 50th Annual Meeting in Davos |
|
Leading bank CEOs, European commissioners and central bankers from across the world will be among the 3000+ delegates and world leaders due to arrive in Davos, Switzerland, in the coming days for the 2020 World Economic Forum. The theme of the 50th anniversary forum is “Stakeholders for a Cohesive and Sustainable World.” Consumer welfare and well-being as well as the traditional measurement of value creation are to be discussed among business and NGO leaders. When it comes to banking and capital markets, the WEF's intelligence team has mapped financial sector challenges in this interactive bank issues infographic. (It's worth more than one click.) The fight against financial crime and money-laundering also features on the WEF agenda with the Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime, which includes as members the European Banking Federation as well as the World Economic Forum and other key stakeholders. More than 200 sessions from Davos can be followed live through a live stream via the official website: WEF Davos 2020 |
