Biocides decisions on active substances and Union authorisations The Commission has granted a Union authorisation for: the biocidal product family 'Divosan PAA products'.The Commission has approved existing active substances: silver zinc zeolite for product-types 2, 7 and 9; and2-methyl-4-oxo-3-(prop-2- ynyl)cyclopent-2-en-1-yl 2,2-dimethyl-3-(2-methylprop-1-enyl)cyclopropanecarboxylate (prallethrin) for product-type 18.Second workshop on Roadmap towards phasing out animal testing for chemical safety assessments This workshop will take place on 25 October 2024 in Brussels and is open for all stakeholders interested in the Commission's roadmap towards phasing out animal testing for chemical safety assessments.
Topics to be discussed include critical elements related to developing, validating and implementing non-animal methods and their uptake across chemical legislation.
