A Message From the Editor

Good morning. President Donald Trump's "Liberation Day" turned out to be brief, with the president pausing most of his punishing tariffs amid market turmoil, although he upped the ante on China. Not to be outdone, China did not back down, and raised tariffs on U.S. goods. And so a trade war still looms. Meanwhile, the war on Big Law in the U.S. continues, with Trump extracting preemptive agreements from some of the world's richest law firms. However, some prominent firms that have been hit with executive orders are fighting back. And even at firms that have cut deals, there are signs that partners and associates are not happy. You can check out these stories and more below and on Law.com International. Have a good weekend.
