According to the Aspen Institute's College Excellence Program, there are approximately 1.5 million students attending 444 rural two-year colleges nationwide. Lacking access to the traditional four-year degree program, these students are now turning to innovative programs created in partnership with two-year colleges and organizations like the Aspen Institute to find job opportunities in their rural communities.
