St Patrick's Day originated in the early 17th century and commemorates the death of Saint Patrick who was responsible for the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. The feast day has become an international celebration of Irish heritage and culture. To commemorate St Patrick's day, HISTORY has curated the best documentaries celebrating Ireland's history including Spitfire Paddy and Origins of The Irish, both on March 17 at 6:30 pm and 8:30pm.
