| You’d think I’d know all the candidates running for office and their positions by now. After all, they’ve been running political ads nonstop for weeks. Unfortunately, all the ads are hit jobs, designed to make their opponents look as bad as possible. This week as my wife handed me my ballot and asked me who I was voting for, I honestly didn’t know. Time to cram for the test. Thankfully, as Bonnie Kristian writes, “It’s Okay to Cram Before Election Day.” She writes that staying abreast of politics isn’t a must for Christians. “Is it a wise use of time to always be up on the latest headlines, to track every twist and turn of this congressional investigation or that court case? For many of us, much of the time, the answer is no.” Ultimately, cramming before an election is ok because politics are important but not ultimate. “Our vote in not the reason for the hope we have.” Read the entire article here.
