Continuing its annual tradition, this year’s MIT Admissions video is an anime depicting one prospective student’s road to the Institute. It was written, directed, and animated by undergraduates Isabella Y., Jenny B., Jenny Z., and Kai VB., who were inspired by the anime series “Neon Genesis Evangelion.” Within a story of alien invasion, they bundle in glimpses of MIT life, including the cheetah robot, Tim the Beaver, and fire spinning. Regular Action decisions for the Class of 2027 became available on Pi Day at Tau Time.

Families from MIT and greater Cambridge gathered recently for the annual Winter Family Day. With collaborators from across the Institute and the City of Cambridge, attendees enjoyed a fun-filled day with interactive activities and performances. The event was MIT Open Space Programming’s largest program to date, with an estimated turnout of 1,500 attendees.
