A House of One Room: Elizabeth Bradford
This new virtual exhibition is a sneak preview into what will be a full-scale exhibition by Elizabeth Bradford during CAM's exhibition schedule in later 2020-2021. Bradford's masterful paintings originate from an intimate observation and profound reverence for the natural environment. The title is drawn from a quote from John Muir's unpublished journals from 1938: "We all dwell in a house of one room - the world with the firmament for its roof - and are sailing the celestial spaces without leaving any track."
These selections offer an invitation to share Bradford's journey as she explores the wonder of the natural world. The reverence she has for the environment and all of its inhabitants, can inspire a deeper awareness of our interconnectedness and responsibility for its preservation and survival.

Getting into Your Resilience Zone with Art Friday, April 24, 7:00 pm on FB live
Join Kelly Purcell, Community Resiliency Model Trainer with the New Hanover County Resiliency Task Force, and Georgia Mastroieni and Heather Wilson from the Cameron Art Museum for a workshop that builds resilience and promotes well-being.
Kelly introduces the resilience zone and discusses how art can help you to use important CRM skills of tracking, resourcing, and grounding. Heather will lead a guided meditation focusing on a work by Sol LeWitt from CAM's collection, and Georgia leads you in a relaxing art activity.

CAM Needs Your Help #GivingTuesdayNow Due to the COVID-19 crisis, CAM made deep budget cuts. We're working now to ensure CAM's future, but we need your help. #GivingTuesdayNow is an international social media campaign to promote giving, culminating with a day of giving on May 5, 2020.
We need to raise $25,000 by June 30, and you can help us do it. There are a few ways you can help.
