to convert your social media community to email subscribers and vice versa. 
One of the key components of doing this should be to tell your audience
why.  Why they should follow you on Twitter, why they
should subscribe to your emails, and why they should watch your YouTube
videos.  Your marketing communications should add value to your audience's
lives, so let them know what's in it for them.  For an example of how to do
this right, view this

.  They sent an email encouraging subscribers to
become a fan on Facebook and let recipients know the benefits of being a Facebook
fan.  Next time you include cross-pollination in your email marketing and
social media campaigns, be sure to answer the question "why?".
