Email Marketing Tip #13:
Incentivize Your
Subscribers


If you want your subscribers to share your emails with their social networks,
then give them a reason to do so!  While providing valuable content is the
most effective way to encourage sharing, don't be afraid to provide recipients
with an incentive.  Whether it's a discount or coupon on a future purchase, a
free whitepaper, or another reward that's relevant to your business, it's okay to
create a contest or give something away in order to encourage sharing.  When
subscribers share your email, it helps validate your message, build your database,
and pinpoint influential fans, so don't be afraid to test incentives and see what
