HAUTE ROUTE QINGCHENG ARE NOW OPEN |

The latest in the series of new Haute Route events, the inaugural Haute Route Qingcheng is set to take place from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th October 2019.
Located in the city of Dujiangyan at the foot of the Tibetan plateau, the course for the inaugural edition will include the Qingcheng mountain. Participants will have exclusive access to this road up one of the most famous Taoist mountains in China as it is usually closed to the public. Featuring two classic stages and an uphill time trial, riders will get to experience memorable riding through colourful ancient towns, incredible temples and bamboo forests.
The event offers riders the opportunity to take on the challenge of the Original course or to ride the Compact course which provides the same experience but on an easier route featuring fewer kilometres and less climbing for each stage.

| To facilitate your logistics during the Haute Route Qingcheng, choose between a couple of accommodation packages. Located next to the ancient city where the incredible start line location will be every day, the Official Event Hotel is the tallest hotel in Dujiangyan and offers fantastic views over the ancient city and mountains beyond. With early breakfasts, late check out on the Sunday and all the event briefings held in the Event Hotel, all post-event services will be on your door step. |

Chengdu International Airport (CTU) is located just an hour’s drive from Dujiangyan (and only 30 minutes by high-speed train) and is the fourth largest hub in mainland China with direct flights to most major North American cities and European capitals. With the Sichuan province being world renowned for its rich local culture, giant pandas and tasty regional food, why not extend your stay in China with friends and family and enjoy some more time to explore the area. |

1. You register for the 2019 Haute Route Qingcheng.
2. Convince a friend, family member, club-mate or stranger to join you in China.
3. Your referee signs up and indicates your full name in the “About You/Haute Route Community” section of their registration form.
4. You contact the Haute Route team here to claim your voucher once your referee confirms their registration.
