We are glad to announce that we have the first SEPA Instant Credit Transfer (SCT Inst) scheme participant from Croatia with a 1 July 2023 readiness date. SCT Inst will soon be present in 29 countries. Also, the estimated share of SCT Inst volumes in total SEPA Credit Transfer volumes increased to 13.29% in the third quarter of this year. The latest information regarding the SCT Inst can be found on our website.
This month we also published the new version of the 2023 SCT Inst scheme rulebook and implementation guidelines that has a new entry-into-force time which will be preceded by a SEPA-wide 30-minutes downtime period as well as the updated guidance document on the migration to the 2019 version of the ISO 20022-based XML messaging standard.
