In international news, a petition by Egypt’s former minister of tourism and antiquities is calling for the world-famous “Nefertiti Bust” at Berlin’s Neues Museum to be returned home. And an art-world fantasy played out when a painting bought by a dealer for $50 was confirmed as a work by famed British Columbia artist Emily Carr worth almost $150,000.
