Jonathan Joseph has been passed fit to start in England's crucial Rugby World Cup pool match against Australia on Saturday. England know if they lose against the Wallabies, they will be out of the World Cup but in a timely boost Joseph has recovered from the pectoral injury that kept him out of their defeat to Wales. Ben Youngs was another who was an injury doubt heading into the final team selection after picking up a knock to his ankle against Wales but he keeps his place at scrum-half while Ben Morgan returns at No.8.

McLaren has confirmed Jenson Button will remain at the team in 2016 to end months of uncertainty about his future. The news means Button's career will extend into a 17th season and another part of the driver puzzle has fit into place for 2016 following lengthy speculation about the 2009 World Champion's future in the sport.

Ronaldo scores 500th career goal, ties Real Madrid record


Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 500th career goal for club and country -- in just 753 games -- and tied the club's scoring record with a brace in the 2-0 win against Malmo on Wednesday. Ronaldo is now level with club legend Raul's record at the top of the Madrid scoring charts.
