TOURISM AUSTRALIA UPDATE

This week Tourism Australia held an accessible tourism workshop with a group of industry experts from across the country who came to Sydney/Warrane to help guide and inspire us, as we look to evolving Tourism Australia’s accessible tourism approach. Accessible tourism is a sector we see with huge potential for the Australian market, and it is something that can be woven in across most tourism offerings, so stay tuned for more to come from us in this space.

The Tourism Australia Board will meet in Brisbane/Meenanjin this week, where in addition to the board meeting, we will meet with industry and see firsthand some of the infrastructure development which is going to contribute significantly to growing the visitor economy in Queensland. It’s not just Brisbane leaping ahead in this space, we are also looking forward to seeing the newly expanded multi-level terminal of the Gold Coast airport on Thursday night.

Finally, we invite you to register for the next Tourism Australia Industry Webinar which will take place on Friday 2 September. Read more and register below.
