| | | | | TOURISM AUSTRALIA UPDATE | Earlier this week I visited Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park to join the team in celebration of its 50th anniversary. Celebrating 50 years in business at any time in history is an achievement but considering all our industry has been through over the last two years it is even more so right now, and a testimony to the passion of the people at Featherdale. I also represented Tourism Australia in Melbourne/Narrm this week to celebrate the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence, along with dignitaries including our Minister. India is a key market for Australia, it is the fastest recovering visitor market at present, and the longer-term prospects are also strong with India expected to be in the top five expenditure markets for Australia by the year 2030. Finally, please join us for the next Tourism Australia Industry Webinar which takes place this Friday 2 September at 11am AEST. Find out more and register below. Phillipa Harrison | | | |
