| | Rain Room to launch at Jackalope Pavilion in Melbourne, VIC Having captivated over half a million people worldwide, Random International’s monumental artwork, Rain Room, will make its Southern Hemisphere debut in St Kilda, Melbourne. A permanent addition to the Jackalope Art Collection, the 100 square metre field of continuous rainfall allows visitors to be fully immersed within millions of water droplets while simultaneously protected from it. Responding to movement, guests can walk throughout the exhibition with rain ceasing to fall whenever they are detected by the sensors. Housed in the purpose-built ‘Jackalope Pavilion’ in St Kilda, Rain Room tickets are now available for showings between 9 August – 30 September. |
