| Singapore just announced our 2020 Budget. Businesses based in the city-state can look forward to initiatives including: | • | A S$4 billion stabilisation and support package: To help enterprises and workers tide through the current economic uncertainty, this package will provide cash flow support and assistance in retaining and retraining workers. | • | Enhanced tax rebates and loan offerings: Companies will be granted a rebate of 25 per cent tax payable, capped at S$15,000 for the year of assessment 2020. The maximum loan quantum under the Enterprise Financing Scheme will also be raised to $600,000 and the Government will increase its risk-share on these loans to 70 per cent. |
