Get real estate
Have you watched "Selling Sunset"?
It's my latest obsession. The Netflix show follows a team of real estate agents who all look like they fell out of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue as they compete to sell luxury homes to rich and famous clients, all while teetering around in high heels that cost more than my rent.
But wait, it gets better: A few of its stars have recently made headlines for things even more jaw-dropping than the possible commission on a $40 million home.
First up, there's actress-turned-agent Chrishell Stause, who split from husband Justin Hartley of "This Is Us" fame late last year. She called their very public divorce "traumatizing," but it'll be a major storyline when Season 3 premieres on Aug. 7.
Christine Quinn Meanwhile, Chrishell's co-worker and frenemy Christine Quinn exclusively told Page Six about the split, dishing that they tried to work it out in counseling before going their separate ways. "We all just thought maybe they were having communication problems for a while,” she explained before insisting that Hartley is "an absolute sweetheart."
This feud is definitely in escrow with Chrishell blasting Christine shortly after our interview went live. "Let me be VERY clear. [Christine] knows absolutely nothing about the situation and is obviously desperate to gain attention by doing so," she tweeted.
Did I just hear a door slam? While their boss Jason Oppenheim seems to be sick of the infighting, I cannot get enough.
Jason Oppenheim "The show’s almost exacerbated the existing kind of tensions and normal drama that would occur among, you know, people that spent so much time together, both professionally and socially,” he recently told us. “I don’t think it’s quite as intense and consistent as it might appear on the show. I mean no one could handle that.”
Meanwhile, in a happier corner of their office, fellow agent Heather Rae Young is smitten with her boyfriend Tarek El Moussa, star of HGTV's "Flip or Flop," and her strict skincare routine. Staying out of other people's business is one easy way to reduce wrinkles.
To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, we are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at high-end real estate.
Drinking of you fondly,
