Martha Stewart's still got it.
This week, the 78-year-old domestic doyenne proved you're never too old to post a thirst trap. Trust me when I say it's a good thing.
With a puckered pout and shimmery eyeshadow, Stewart did her best come-hither stare before offering up a far less sexy explanation about her East Hampton piscina. "It was designed to be as chlorine free as possible, with a natural concrete finish-no paint," she explained.
 Chelsea Handler mimics Martha Stewart's famous pool picture. But even that yawn-inducing detail couldn't throw cold water on the sizzling scene. It even inspired Chelsea Handler, who is 23 years Stewart's junior, to pay homage.
Turns out, my fellow martini aficionado doesn't find imitation to be the sincerest form of flattery. She had quite the critique for Handler, writing, "I’m so happy that you liked my post well enough to emulate it. I do think my pool is a little bit prettier than yours and that my facial expression is a little more relaxed."
Harsh! Maybe Handler should stick to repurposing face masks? In another backyard oasis, alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn has made her pool time productive. She seems to have found a new role in her post-Olympics career: coaxing her dog Bear into the water and calling on Michael Phelps for guidance.
“Love the form!! Gotta keep the relay going!!” Phelps advised Vonn and her pup.
Meanwhile, the fashion set has proven that some bikinis look better out of the water. Cardi B's bedazzled leopard ensemble — complete with towering heels — looks impossible to swim (or, quite frankly, breathe) in, and Victoria's Secret model Devon Windsor has gone from modeling bathing suits to personalizing them with her new line.
Looks like everyone's making a splash.
