Ottawa will host eight of the top teams in mens volleyball this June 7 to 12.

The men's teams playing in Ottawa at the Arena at TD Place include Canada, Poland, France, Serbia, Argentina, Italy, Germany and Bulgaria. This will be the first major event for Canada since the Olympics in Tokyo. France is the reigning Olympic gold medalist team. Each team plays four of the six days.

The FIVBs Volleyball Nations League (VNL) is a flagship annual volleyball event that was established in 2018. The new format of the competition will see 16 mens and 16 womens teams competing in pools of eight teams during the pool phase. With the new format in place, each team will play 12 matches in their pools across three weeks of competition, consisting of four matches between the Tuesday and Sunday of each week.
