Good morning Voornaam

We can't believe we have to tell you this, but there are even more weather warnings on the way for thunderstorms. If you're in east Scotland, do take care you've checked the weather, and double checked any travel plans you may have made. This weather can cause a disruption to public transport.

For those who love the drama of a thunderstorm - get a brew and stand moodily by a window while we talk through some of the stories of the day.

Kicking off, a rather fun exclusive from Transport Correspondent Alastair Dalton - this time on transport that's not moving an inch. A rail carriage, used in one of the Mission Impossible movies, has been converted into a Pitlochry Thai restaurant, and we got a glimpse inside.

Take a look right here

Next up,  rather controversially, tourists have picked the best and worst of towns in Scotland. We present without comment right here

We are coming up to a General Election (Genny Lec as the cool kids on the internet call it. We won't be calling it that) so here is some analysis from our Westminster correspondent Alex Brown, looking at what Labour's pitch on business, and the Tory's offer on pensions, tells us about their voting strategies.

Check it out here

We will keep you up to date with news through out the day with our daily live blog.

Have a fantastic day
