In an ongoing effort to bring The Forward’s treasured archives to the public, we’re collaborating with the Museum at Eldridge Street to present the exhibit “Pressed: Images from The Jewish Daily Forward,” featuring a selection of metal plates used to print images in the newspaper back in the day, along with actual prints made from the vintage plates using traditional equipment.

Help us celebrate the exhibit opening and savor the iconic moments captured by The Forward! With your donation of $180 or more, you’ll receive a set of 4 of these exclusive original prints on notecards*, hand-selected by our archivist from our treasured collection. The notecards are printed at Bowne & Co. South Street Seaport Museum, using the same historic presses used to print plates.
