Arriving in Lombok it will be hard not to spot Gunung Rinjani, Indonesia's second-highest volcano. If you're looking to head off the beaten path why not take an excursion to the stunning Gili Islands, fringed by white sand and coconut palms, these islands are a vision of paradise. Cruising across the Wallace Line (a line that marks the boundary between areas populated by Asian and Australian fauna) you'll arrive in Bali where you overnight onboard. Your final port of call is Probolinggo, where tours to Mount Bromo, one of Indonesia's most spectacular volcanoes, are always in high demand, however, if you're looking to end this Indonesian adventure closer to sea level there are plenty of beautiful beaches, temples, waterfalls and bamboo forests to explore.
