April 2nd, 2024 Dear CHAC Community, We are so grateful to have our wonderful community to serve and be a place where Chicano/a and Latino/a traditions can be celebrated and practiced. Lucille Ruibal Rivera's hard work and dedicated helped to keep CHAC Gallery going during difficult times. We wanted to let you know that Lucille Ruibal Rivera's family and CHAC friends will be hosting a Celebration of Life for her at CHAC Gallery @40West (7060 W. 16th Ave. Lakewood, CO) April 27th, from 2pm-5pm. Lucille is very missed and as we move into Spring with new exhibits and events, we hold her close to our hearts. CHAC Gallery is so excited for our new exhibit Primavera opening this week! The Earth is becoming alive with flowers and wildlife, let this Spring energy of renewal bring you joy and abundance. Butterflies are dancing in the sky, flowers are blooming, and rainbows reach across the sky. CHAC artists find amazing ways to capture this Spring energy. Let the Primavera art exhibit inspire you to cultivate all that you need to live vibrantly.

Danielle Ramos CHAC Artists I'm Danielle Ramos, born and raised in Colorado, with roots stretching back through generations in my family. We've been here in colorado since before Colorado was even a concept, so you could say I'm deeply connected to this land we call Turtle Island. I'm all about the stories – especially the ancient ones from Pre-Columbian Mesoamerica. They're my passion. I love bringing those tales of creation and tradition to life through my art, blending the past with the present. I hope to preserve traditions whether through art, stories, food, or the connections we make throughout life. Nature is where I find my inspiration. The colors and textures out there? They're incredible. I take cues from the best artist out there – Mother Nature – and infuse my work with the same energy and vibrancy I see around me. Through my art, I honor my roots, past and present, and invite others to reconnect with their own heritage and the beauty of the natural world.
Start getting your work ready! As specific dates are solidified, call-for-entires will be posted on CHAC's website and CHAC members will be notified.
