Summer Reading is about to start, and we're getting in the groove with an exciting event! Eric Litwin is the #1 bestselling author of the original four Pete the Cat books, The Nuts, and Groovy Joe. Free tickets are available (while they last) at the Youth Services Desk. If you have already picked up tickets but for some reason are unable to go, we ask that you return the tickets, as seats are limited, and we anticipate that this event will sell out. |

| Baby Chicks Hatched at the Library!
We were very excited to have baby chicks hatch at the library last week. The eggs arrived on May 10 and were in an incubator for about 20 days. When staff arrived on Wednesday morning to open the library, they were greeted by our first baby chick! We live streamed several times that day and the next as the baby chicks emerged from their eggs. In total, 11 chicks hatched, and it was a wonderful experience for the kids to watch. The chicks will be at the library until Thursday. |
