Every year you hear the same thing, time to pack in the grill or smoker and forget about outdoor cooking until the Spring. This simply isn't true. Smoking, in particular, is great in the fall. There are so many great foods that will benefit from a little smoke, whether you own a smoker or a grill. Try some Pumpkin or Butternut Squash. Smoked, they make the perfect ingredient is so many dishes. And of course, my fall time favorite, Barbecue Brisket, makes a great meal on cooler evenings.
