| Aug. 29, 2022 Wednesday is the final day for people to challenge their exclusion from Minnesota’s pandemic frontline worker bonus program. More than 200,000 applications were denied because peoples' identities couldn't be verified or because applicants made too much or received extended unemployment payments. The denials were out of a total of 1.2 million people who sought a share of the $500 million in payments. State officials say the payments will be issued this fall to people in occupations ranging from food processing and health care employees to retail workers and child care staff.
