Thanks to a few timely rains and some warm weather, grasslands are recovering in the Texas High Plains following a devastating wildfire that roared through West Texas, western Oklahoma and Kansas in early March.

An earlier blog on how much to feed a heifer was short on details. Here are some specifics on the results the Montana research has yielded.

The good news is that farmers made the list. But that bad news is they ranked below six other sources including nutrition advocacy groups, which often can be agenda-driven.
