Fentanyl behind death of missing Georgia man

The coroner has confirmed what was already feared: Nathan Millard died of an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol. 

Millard's disappearance during a business trip drew enormous scrutiny on Baton Rouge. And the fact that fentanyl was involved in his death highlights how the potent synthetic opioid has caused overdoses to skyrocket.

Here's the latest. 


After two of its officers died in a helicopter crash on Sunday, the Baton Rouge Police Department says it is grounding all nighttime flights while it investigates what went wrong — and why it took hours for the department to realize the aircraft went down. 

We also got more details on the chase that preceded the crash, which at one point hit 150 mph.
