Fentanyl's grip: Gentilly, Lakeview, Uptown, Terrytown. The synthetic opioid fentanyl is responsible for more than 4 out of every 5 overdose deaths in metro New Orleans, and no neighborhood has been left untouched. Orleans Parish has the highest rate of overdose deaths in Louisiana, which has the third-highest rate of deadly overdoses in the nation. John Simerman and Sophie Kasakove have the story.
