I'm in REALly love with this list ...

It's Thursday, Baltimore. Did you miss me these past few days with no newsletter? Did my later-career D'Angelo reference up top make up for it? No? 

 

Well, you'll forget all about that when you scroll down and see ... (drumroll) ... the 2023 RealLIST Startups! Yes, the list I've hit so many of you up about in this newsletter, in texts, in emails, on Slack is finally live! Based on your wonderful nominations, trends we've seen over the past years and what we think will thrive in the Baltimore region, we compiled this list of 20 companies — 10 honorees and 10 honorable mentions — that you should have an eye on in 2023. 

 

Some will be familiar to you who've read our coverage. Others won't, but their growth potential and unique innovations still made them solid candidates. Overall, it's a comprehensive window into what companies, at the top of a year characterized by market correction fears and widespread Big Tech layoffs, we think will weather the storm best — and succeed in spite of it.
