One more brrrrr day to go until a warmup. Clear skies tonight will help Thursday’s low temps plummet. Wind chill temps tomorrow morning will range from minus 15 to minus 30 across Minnesota. At least, we’ll get plenty of sunshine Thursday, and a thaw is coming Friday through the weekend, with a shot at the 40s on Saturday.

As Minneapolis’ Upper Harbor project moves forward, some north-siders are worried, skeptical.  Although the $200 million project promises jobs and economic growth in the north side, some residents aren’t sure if it will benefit their communities or end up pushing them out of their neighborhoods. For many north-siders, who for decades have heard economic promises made and broken, the question now is: Will this time be different? Can something be built that centers current residents culturally and creates wealth for them?

The Secret Service paid $650 per night to stay at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. How much money has the government spent so far at Trump’s properties? ProPublica cited  a Washington Post story published earlier this month that revealed numbers of the government’s spending at Trump’s properties adding up to $471,000. “He’s paying our money to himself,” the Post’s David Fahrenthold said in ProPublica’s “Trump, Inc.”

Source: Barr tells people he might quit over Trump tweets
According to one administration official, Attorney General William Barr has told people close to him he's considering quitting his post after President Trump ignored his request to stop tweeting about Justice Department cases. The revelation comes days after Barr said in a television interview that Trump's tweets about DOJ cases and staffers make it "impossible" for him to do his job.
