Shortly thereafter, in acknowledgement of his outstanding work as FISU President, Oleg Matytsin was appointed to the post of Sports Minister of the Russian Federation, a position of immense responsibility and FISU couldn't be prouder. With one year to go for the Lucerne 2021 Winter Universiade, the quirky mascot Wuli was revealed to the world... and on the educational front, FISU announced three scholarships for the year. Phew!
