THIS WEEK'S QUESTION:
The expected July 1 rollout of recreational marijuana sales in Massachusetts has been delayed, with just two companies receiving a total of four provisional licenses from the Cannabis Control Commission despite 151 complete submitted applications. One company, Cultivate in Leicester, has been awarded a retail license, but state regulators need a testing facility licensed, up and running before stores can begin selling.
Once the industry is up and running, will you patronize Massachusetts recreational marijuana shops?
Yes. I’m a long-time marijuana user and the stores now legitimize it.
Yes. I’ve never used pot extensively but will visit the stores to see what it is all about.
No. I don’t smoke pot and this changes nothing.
No. I’m used to buying illegally on the street and that remains the cheaper option.
